McKEESPORT, PA (Nov. 1, 2006)-Mon-Yough Community Services, Inc. (MYCS) has adopted a new visual look and description, as the foundation for ongoing outreach and extended involvement in the communities it serves.

"We are MYCS - the place where people in McKeesport and surrounding communities come to get better," said Noreen Fredrick, executive director. "We are moving forward with an aggressive campaign to rejuvenate and redefine this organization in a new way with greater clarity. The 'Get Better' tag line will help set MYCS apart as a vital, vibrant, visually appealing destination for the people of this area to come for counseling, healing, and recovery."

The new MYCS logo and tagline will be used on all communications pieces from the organization, including a new website (www.mycs.org), advertising, letterhead, and business cards.

"Everyone in our organization plays a part in helping our clients get better," said Fredrick. "One of the greatest aspects of this new campaign is that we don't have to become something different or new - we simply are telling our amazing story more effectively now.

"MYCS has a proud past, a solid present, and a new beginning driven by recovery-oriented programs and services, both internal and external," she said. "What we always try to remember is that hope survives when good people care and when good people act. That is what we represent to our clients.

"There's a sense of optimism and the potential for greatness in this organization. The very words 'Get Better' shout an optimistic message to our MYCS team and to all of our consumers."
